So Sorry!

 We are so sorry that we have not been posting on YouTube or on this blog. We have been busy with school and after school activities. We will be finishing Parting Worlds Season 1 very soon, but the episodes will most likely have different music and credits because iMovie has not been working lately on the computer. So, we got an iMovie app on our iPad. There will only be five episodes per season for Parting Worlds. We will not be starting Pixie Dust until After Christmas, so ignore the opening (unless we have extra time to start before Christmas). We also started a new series called Into the Enchanted Forest and will try to upload the trailer to YouTube today. We also hope to get a lot more dolls soon so that we can make our videos better. We will try our best to keep our YouTube channel and blog updated. See you on the next video!

Our Newest Project: Pixie Dust

Our newest project is another series called Pixie Dust. We have been waiting forever to be able to do this series. This series was created by Sydney and Hayden with help from the dolls, duh! This is just the opening credits for the new series: this is not an episode. We made this video in the Outer Banks of North Carolina on the deck of our vacation home. Preview- Parting Worlds

                                                                                    This is a sneak  peek on our next  project. We have decided to make a series called Parting Worlds. So basically, the series is about two girls that find themselves in a different dimension. There is going to be a lot of twists and turns that people won't be expecting. So stay tuned.  

Doll Video Tips

                                  

We have seen in some doll video comments (am I the only person who reads other peoples comments?)   lots of people ask, "How do you come up with all of your doll video ideas?" Lots of people can't figure out very good ideas for doll videos. So, we are writing some tips to help you guys figure out

some good ideas for your videos. 

1) One of the most important things to remember when making a doll video is to make a title for it, and then you can build ideas around the title or you could think of the plot (from the title). BUT, make sure your plot makes sense, and make sure you can get a long way off of the idea.

2) Make sure you have enough dolls. If you need to, ask your friends to let you borrow their dolls  and/or for them to help you hold, move, or do voices for your dolls.

3) Be sure to have a good video software so you can do as many edits as you want. We use iMovie and sometimes FlipShare (they don't sell Flip cameras anymore, so I would stick to iMovie).

4) Making videos can be hard to do by yourself, so have a "video team." 

You'll need:

• A "camera man" 
• "The mover" - moves and holds the dolls
• "The voice" - makes different voices for each character
• "The editor"
